Blu eCigs is a nicotine product with a mission to redefine the way people smoke. I joined the blu marketing team back in 2014 to create the brands first packaging system. My overall focus was to create a packaging design that would set the foundation for a successful future of growth. The opportunity quickly transformed and matured. Creating the first generation of blu's starter pack, menthol, tobacco and all other flavored juice series put a ripple in the tobacco market. The success of the brand quickly turned into an acquisition with Lorillard Tobacco Company. Alongside developing the packaging, I was called upon to create the first ad campaign, including visual identity updates, more packaging, merchandise, grassroots events, web, tv, and marketing collaterals. My main duties after the company was required was to develop and manage the companies first internal creative team who I've successfully tasked out to implement my design direction across all collateral and marketing materials, both internal and external.
